My name is Cat. I am a journalist in Austin, Texas.

My work has appeared in numerous publications including The Texas Tribune, Victoria Advocate, Austin Monthly and Houston Chronicle.

While working for various Hearst Newspaper publications, I have helped launch over a half dozen newsletters, ranging from daily briefing-style newsletters to multi-day course-style newsletters.

Community is at the heart of all of my work. Whether it’s through story telling, newsletters or other journalism-related work, my goal is to promote local community engagement.
